Yeah, big car park plenty of space. As someone else suggested, you could nip and get something to eat and have it in the car whilst it gets a bit quieter.

    Nothing to do with wages...

Its to do with the changing of the role that the guard undertakes on the train.

Getting rid of the guards and putting all the responsibilities on the driver?

600 is plenty, you don’t need a space per fan as most will be car sharing with at least one other person, plus if you add up all the people travelling by coach (official and not) and consider all those going by train or bus there’ll be plenty of room. It takes a bit of time to get out after the match but there’s things to do in the local retail park and getting the bus would probably add just as much time on as the bit of wait for the car park to clear.

Going in car settings off at lunch time .At comment can't get a coach.
Parkings down side of ground similar to Barnsley car park.
There's other parking free if you get there earlier enough.
Travelling on my own other half a working.

Not oooop north. They want the guards to have additional responsibilities on northern trains.
    Thats from within senior management.

Down south in the batshit world of public transport its a different matter. They are pushing for driver only like the underground..

Bit OT from OP but what happens if there is trouble on the train or a passenger becomes suddenly ill? Come to think of it, who takes control if the driver suddenly becomes ill or is incapacitated? Only one member of staff (driver isolated from rest of train) Madness!!

The unions are pushing it based on southerners rather than their nothern counterparts.
