Lots of people rate him more highly than I do, and are asking who we will replace him with. If he wants to go, and we're willing to allow it, then Stendel may not fancy him and could have a list of players to choose from. A few weeks before the season started we were crying out for this that and the other according to some posters, and Kenny Dougal appeared, and has been superb. Bradshaws 20 goals a season are a few seasons back now, and he's now being praised for running about a lot. I think we can do better, and I've every faith in the owners filling the space he leaves.
In league 1, Bradshaw is a regular scorer. I also thought he did a half decent job playing up front on his own for the first half of last season. We may have replacements lined up but I’d be amazed if we’re able to sign a striker of Tom’s ability for a million. We also won’t spend anywhere near a million I don’t think, so we’ll be buying potential. Also, didn’t Stendel say he wanted to keep him too?
To be fair Bradshaw fits perfectly into stendels hard working high press game. I know you don't rate him and I don't mind us selling but to sell after the window ends so we can only replace with loans for below the market value when Marc mcnulty go's for 2million and kayden Jackson 1.5 million is ridiculous.
TBF no one knew if Tom would be as good as he was when we bought him so in effect he was a gamble as probably will his replacement Could be as good, worse, or even better. I think we’ve lost a good player for our system whether he’d score the goals I’m not sure but the next chapter begins imo
We’ve only played 4 league 1 games this season and that is a very short sighted view. Over the course of a season I’m sure he’d get a much better ratio than 1 in 4 but I guess I won’t have the chance to be proven right or wrong.
Yup. We've got a good team, and he's not "the main man" that we would be losing. I don't see this as something that would derail our season.
He had a good record at Walsall though, hopefully we’ll be signing someone with as good of a record. I think we’ll be signing a young, pacy striker. Probably one with not so much of a goal scoring record.
He played at Blackpool. If he had scored in that game I'm sure the goal would have been counted, so fairs fair.
Whether it’s 4 or 5, it’s still very short sighted. Before last night big Keef had not scored a goal so would you have been okay with selling him too?
I think some will take exception to my opinion of Bradders, but I'm not meaning to criticise him. I think he's ok, but just ok. Derek Parker hit the nail on the head when he said "he's ok, but he's no Winall".
But he fits into the system stendel is trying to play hard working pressing game. He is no winnall and I'm.not convinced he is championship quality. But Sam winnalls gone and were in league one. He goes it will leave us with 2 strikers one a 20 year old who was in the 23s last season we will only be able to replace with a loan and we have sold for less than market value and we will owe Walsall a cut. Dress it up how you want it's piss poor.
I don’t agree with you regarding Bradshaw but I’m with you 100% with Moore. I’m hoping for at least 20/25 goals if he stays fit and injury free.
But this is whole point of my post. I'm open minded to what Stendel and the owners have got up their sleeves. I'm pretty sure they're not going to allow him to leave without a plan. Don't forget, only a few weeks ago some of our players were going straight down, and we're spineless cowards according to some posters on here. You have got to have some faith. Bradshaw going isn't the end of the world. Rather him than Moore. Morison is near the end of his career. Millwall could easily have eyed Moore as a like for like replacement.
