    ........ tryer.

Runs abart a lot - puts a shift in - but is relatively slow - doesn’t produce much threat.
Probably the weak link of the Barnsley team.
    Glad he’s gone.
There are much better strikers out there.

I am similarly underwhelmed, though not to "weak link" proportions.

Somewhat ironically, he's recently of more value to us than before because of our new coach's philosophy and Bradders' dog-chasing-the-ball virtue.

He wasn't on the team sheet last season from time to time. Cos it was thought others were better.

But now is the time for us to be thrilled by the forward planning of our mega-savvy board, who know that when you remove a cog from a recently well-firing engine, the only reason for so doing is to replace it with a more effective one.

If you don't, it will misfire.

Yes - most of that I agree with.
    I don’t think he’ll be missed.
What I’ve seen so far of Victor impresses me more than Bradders.

Seems like a “he wa ***** anyway” situation like we regularly seem to get on here and social media when we sell as player.

I liked Tom and thought he would get 15+ goals for us this season in league 1. Guess we’ll never know now.

I think Moncur will come in against Scunny but we should get replacements in before the end of August.

Millwall fans seem to think they've got our "main man", but time will tell for us and them.

It could prove to be the case that we've had their pants down.

I like Tom Bradshaw for his effort, and for that brilliant header against Leeds the season before last. By all accounts from people who've met him, he's supposed to be an absolutely lovely bloke as well, and I wish him all the best. However, when considering his all round effectiveness and goalscoring record in the Championship, I reckon you're probably right. Let's see.

    My predictions are

    a. We will miss him. Unless we find a gem in the next week his going is definitely to the detriment of the team as a whole. Can't believe how many people are a bit 'meh' about it.

    b. There us a very good chance though that in 6 months time he will be missing us as well when he is out of favour at Millwall after pulling up zero trees or is getting dogs abuse from the Millwall fans when they realise his limitations.

He is definitely in the 'whole greater than the sum of the parts' bracket for me as far as his worth to the overall success of the team is concerned due to his work ethic. And I fully expected him to get 15 to 20 goals this season in L1. His leaving will weaken the team and I am far from happy about it. But so many players leave Barnsley and stall and I think he may well be another. He suited us at this level and we will miss him, possibly badly. But he isn't Messi, Millwall will soon realise that and it may well prove that he would have been better staying here.

I agree with a lot of that. However, I believe that the fact he is so limited means we won't struggle to replace him with someone just as effective if not more so.

I've met his parents at a few away matches and they are really nice people.

Is Tom allowed to reciprocate with his honest assessment of YN?
