I now fully expect a rejuvenated Scunny to come out and put in a good performance Saturday. Hopefully we put in a similar performance as on Tuesday and we blow them away regardless.
Bizarre. Thought most would see how it panned out tomorrow before making that call - unless he’s clearly lost the dressing room?
Damn it! There will definitely be a response now from their players. Same tempo from us as Tuesday though and we should have enough. I also think Daniel may surprise a few with Bradder's replacement. Opposition will be expecting us to go with Victor, maybe we won't and keep him for impact.
If they play football against us we will win. If they shut up shop and keep it tight we might struggle.
Alot of their fans not happy with it say they have sold their best players and haven't replaced them blaming the chairman.....
A Scunny fan at work told me Hecky was at their match Tuesday night, so what chance him being announced today, could put an whole different complex to the game now
Meh, not like they were good players playing under a bad manager, they're an awful team and will still play the same awful football. 3-0 Tarn. Nowt to worry about.
I wouldn't be surprised at all. Commutable from Barnsley, highest offer he's likely to receive after last season's debacle.
Think this could be the theme of our season. Though if we could get Hedges and Isgrove fit I do believe they would help massively against sides who sit back.
Hedges perhaps, but don’t think Isgrove is the right player to play against teams who sit back. You don’t need pacey players in those games, you need clever players. Ones capable of drawing players out of position or threading neat passes. Different planet, of course, but look how Guardiola is dealing with defensive teams in the prem this season - no Sterling, no Sane, no Walker. Moncur fits the bill perfectly, but can he do it for prolonged spells? Not sure. Chaplin looks like he could be handy in those situations...
Be a good appointment. If he doesn't lose track of his original philosophy of playing football, he'll be back in the Champ again.
I agree, but in the Wimbledon game for example we just lacked options. Last 15 mins we looked out of idea. Someone like Isgrove who wpuld at least run at them and try and stretch the game might make something happen. I'd you can't find that killer pass the best thing flyouncan do is move the ball from back to front quickly.
It's being trailed on SSN that he's lead candidate. Given he's had a decent amount of spotlight on there the last year or so, I'd be surprised if he didn't get it. Think he's got to prove himself again to be honest. Ironic he complained about the team being sold from under him here, and now he could be moving to a club who have had the team sold and dismantled over the summer.
Not that i've seen or heard, but not been focusing on it greatly, just took note when I heard PH's name mentioned.
