go on then start a post about season tickets ... How may years have you had a BFC season ticket for over the years then... as for me its 25 years +
I really do not think I need to... I am sure the majority know who the humble pie brigade are ... without a doubt.
Are you knew here ?!?!? Have you even read any of this message board ?!?!? Did you read the thread that I started saying I’m not that fussed Bradshaw was sold ?!?!? Did you read ALL those posts contributing to the support for these owners ?!?!? So what the foook are you on ?!?!?
If we get three points at Scunny despite weakening our team, I will gladly eat some humble pie. As things stand, we've sold something which was in perfectly good working order, without making sure its replacement is functioning properly first. That isn't a good idea in any sphere of life. Sure enough, it needs fixing before we can actually use it.
Bradshaw has scored two goals this year. That's not what I would call good working order. We've doubled our money and he's definitely not twice the player we signed.
Bradshaw is fully fit and well schooled in the way we play. That's what I class as being in good working order.
I'd ask you to give me a single example of a team that's about to sell a player signing his replacement then playing him for some unspecified number of games before allowing the initial sale. That's madness. What if the buying club change their mind?
He wouldn't be in good mental working order though if we expected to break the footballer's habit of a lifetime and actually honour his contract. As I say we have doubled our money on a player who doesn't want to be here and brought a replacement in within 24 hours.
Genuine answer - don't know but the fee is twice what we paid for him. In fact, I seem to think we paid 400k but that could be wrong.
To be fair the vast majority of posts were quite measured and only articulated understandable bemusement at the timing of Bradshaw's departure. Emphasis was always placed on the replacement being very important, including my own comments on the situation. Woodrow appears to be a pretty good replacement, potentially at least. But let's not make this forum place where people can't express an opinion or concern without fear of being shouted down with the benefit of hindsight.
I thought we gazumped Rotherham with a fee in the region of £650 k, but if Walsall have something to come, then our profit might be not as much as some think.
