Yes - if you're at the front in a seating area - sit the f.... down. There are kids, older folk and others behind you who don't want to stand for the whole match...

When we played Oxford at Wembley in the Johnstone Paint Final because of arthritis
in my hip, I had to remain seated. For an entire 45 minutes, when we were attacking their
goal, due to selfish fans insisting on standing up, I saw very little of the game.
Much the same in the second half, people jumping up and remaining standing ignoring
requests from parents with kids behind them to sit down. When we qualified to play
Millwall in the play off final, I therefore decided not to go and watched it on TV at home. It's a pity
why people who insist on standing up, don't realise that they are spoiling the game for those
fans who are not tall enough to see over them or are disabled and can't stand for any length of time.
I've had my operation now and eight weeks later I am able to stand up, but because of past experiences knowing how inconvenient it can be, I still won't jump up and block somebody's view.

I had the same problem at the Playoff final and paid more than I would have liked for an area I thought would not be populated by inconsiderate morons. However, I was wrong. First two rows were stood most of the time, and consequently, I and those unable like me to stand missed half the match.
