Arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a train. https://news.sky.com/story/paul-gas...ation-on-suspicion-of-sexual-assault-11482595
He sexually-assaulted a train? The guy must have gone off the rails. Clearly he is loco. (I saw a headline on The Guardian's website yesterday which said: woman shot by children's play area. You can't even trust a helter-skelter these days.)
He was a first class footballer but that doesn't excuse the way he has conducted himself. Perhaps she gave him signals? He will probably hire an expensive lawyer to cover his tracks
Though off topic another young life ended before time . (Gazza s nephew) . Mental health services need some serious investment but I'm afraid I can't see it happening any time soon .
Could start by getting tough and clapping down on mind altering street drugs for a start.. one of the curses of the liberal society..
You couldn’t be further from the truth... Drug addiction isn’t a fall out of a liberal society. It’s years of austerity, Little hope of being successful in life and the lower classes being squeezed of every little hope they have that creates drug addled street people. A fairer society, where everyone feels part of something and are supported, which reduces poverty would vastly reduce the amount of ghosts we see in our towns and cities now.
Don't drug abusers come from all different points of the compass? The hopeless poor. The decadent rich. The abused. The brokenhearted. The weak willed. The misled. The feckless. The mentally impaired. All the above could eventually end up on the street. Each with a different story. And all because of austerity? Or a liberal society? Anyway, there have always been drug abusers. We see these present day zombies behaving as they do, because that's the way this latest fix affects them.
Of course not. I was answering the earlier post about street drugs. Drugs are across the entire spectrum but street drugs definitely aren’t a fall out of any liberal ideal.
It's such a shame to see a once great player unravel to the point he has over the last few years. The guy needs professional help but sadly he seems to surround himself with people who don't really care about him.
