His biggest problem is everything he does is compared to Guardiola & he’s failing miserably in comparison.

He’s complaining because they’ve spent a bit less, it’s something daft like £450m to £375m, hardly worth moaning about at that level especially when Mourinho has a bigger squad.

But if you go through the squads you have to ask why isn’t he developing players?

Look at how much Pep’s improved Sterling & Sane, compare that to Martial & Rashford who’ve just stagnated.

Why is an older David Silva improving yet Juan Mata’s regressing?

2 years ago Pogba was seen as a bigger prospect than De Bruyne yet he’s nowhere near as good now.

Man Utd fans moan about City spending fortunes on full backs but they fail to mention that both Darmian & Shaw were seen as huge prospects a couple of seasons back. What’s gone wrong?

I’ve never understood the issue with spending big money on a full back either, if it’s the position that needs strengthening surely it’s better to do that than continue to piss money up the wall on players who want to be no. 10’s like United have done since Fergie left, Kagawa, Fellaini, Mata, Mkhitarian, Pogba etc.

On the centre backs, why has Pep been able to improve Otamendi & get Kompany back close to the player he was 4 seasons ago yet both Jones & Smalling seem to be getting worse as they approach the primes of their career. It’s easy to mock the pair of them but they were regular starters when Fergie last won the league. I doubt there’s many Man Utd fans who would’ve took Stones & Otamendi over Jones & Smalling 2 years ago.

And that leads you on to the signings at centre back. Compare Stones & Laporte to Bailly & Lindelof & they’re both on a different level.

I still can’t believe they signed Sanchez, he clearly didn’t want to sign for them, it took until they offered him a huge weekly wage to finally go there over City, a player looking for one final pay day. Seems like they only made that signing to save face.

Out of his whole squad there’s only really Lingard who’s improved where as if you look at City it’s probably easier to say who hasn’t improved? I’m struggling to think of any except Bravo.

If you look at signings none of Mourinho’s have done much except probably Lukaku. Matic has been steady away & that’s about it but neither much better than they were at Everton & Chelsea.

Virtually all Guardiola’s have been a success except Nolito & Bravo.

At the start of the season I thought they’d finish 4th at best & now Chelsea’s playing well they might not even make top 4, he’ll be gone before long I’d imagine

He is a busted flush. New managers like Pep, Mauricio & Jurgen have taken over. Will be 5th or 6th, but I think he will have walked by then.
