    According to media reports we tried to get Chaplin - AND failed.
    If we can’t attract players away from a club in debt like Coventry are then it doesn’t look good.
    But by 5 o’clock tomorrow we will see.

    If Chaplin doesn't want to join us, I would prefer he didn't
    There will be players out there who want to be part of our journey and want to play for the club and management team.
    Still think we need two though
    Our squad numbers balance is the same as it was before Bradders left.
    Thought we needed extra then and my opinion has not changed.

    We tried a swap deal, although I’m not sure the player involved. Doesn’t suggest we were pinning all our hopes on him. Sure it got Cov paying more and certainly would have got the agents client a better deal if Coventry thought we were mad keen on him too....

    Some really good striker signings going on. Joe Mason to Portsmouth, Jamie Ward to Charlton and Zack Clough to Rochdale.

    Wouldn’t have minded any of those 3 here to support Woodrow and Moore.

    Jamie Walker to Peterborough is a good one, for sure, and Zack Clough to Rochdale is surprising, as he was a stand-out performer even in the Premiership with Bolton. Didn't work for him at Forest, but that's quite a come down.
