Fingers crossed something happens for me. I know a Fleetwood season ticket holder but don't think I could for any game ever sit with opposition fans and trust myself to stay quiet. Shrewsbury is a possibility as a new ground for me to cross off and back easily before midnight.
My first ever away game. Blackburn Rovers in the prem season. I was 17 and my dad didn't want to sit behind the net so we went in the home end. I still remember my dad's words to me that evening "If we score, don't stand up and cheer". We sat in a quiet part of the ground, got talking to a locals. They scored first (I didn't realise it was that early though) and we stood up and politely clapped. Then Georgi equalised, I sat on my hands, and my dad jumped up and cheered. Stewards kept a close eye on us after that but there was no trouble. Damien Duff tore us a new arsehole that day too. https://www.11v11.com/matches/blackburn-rovers-v-barnsley-31-march-1998-23214/ https://www.premierleague.com/video/fixture/2451
Yeah no category for one away game like we had for 3 and 2 away games. Shrewsbury might get done and with around 1,700 tickets we might just sell out a long distance night game.
