It has to be in play for 60 minutes surely, because as soon as the ball goes out the clock is stopped. Also the clock doesn’t start again until the ball is “snapped”
Just Googled it and the average game lasts 3 hours 12 minutes with the ball in play for just 11 minutes seems like it should be NFAL...National Fannying About League
I would assume, but I'm no watcher of the game mind, that when it's on the move via a play or being run with a player
Green Bay Packers. Went on a 'soccer' tour with my football team to Wisconsin in 1990 and were special guests at Lambeau. We were walking around the players training whilst the mad fans were hanging off the railings watching a training session in July in the baking heat. We had no idea who anyone was but the fanaticism left an impression on me and the museum was fantastic. So they are my team and it helps that Aaron Rodgers is my favourite player i enjoy watching the highlights
It's just occurred to me that tonight's fixture is a repeat of the one that started off my support of the Eagles in the first place. 5th October 1981, on holiday in Orlando and the Eagles - Falcons game is the Monday Night Football game showing on TV. I know nothing about the rules of the game but am fixated watching it. I decide that an Eagle is a cooler bird than a Falcon, so choose them as the team I want to win. They eventually edge a 16-13 win and add one supporter to their list. The next day, my parents buy me some Eagles gear we find whilst they're out shopping, which I proceed to wear at every opportunity for the rest of the holiday (the attached pic is from Disney World). 36 and a bit years of disappointment subsequently follow before I get to go ballistic in the middle of the night watching Superbowl LII on TV. If only the little fella in the pic knew what was going to follow.
Dude, that is amazing haha. When I was a really little kid I was a 49ers fan (through family and stuff mostly) but wasn't into football all that much, then when I moved to England (Still pretty much a kid) I became a huge fan of the Falcons. Teams from the west usually don't have their games finish until midnight UK time, which is pretty late when you're still in school so the Falcons just became my team. But I still love the 49ers, I was in San Francisco recently and it renewed my interest for them even more. But yeah, great story dude but I hope we kick your ass tonight.
Living in Colorado, obviously I am a Broncos fan, been to a few games. This year is going to be a mediocre season I reckon, quite a few changes. They may get to the play offs. Regarding being "World Champions" I have mentioned to quite a few friends and relatives here about that. Mentioning when we won the play-off final and the Cup that we were 2 times World Champions, in one season. They do have a sense of humour, or should I say Humor.
Falcons vs Philly and these refs right now. Julio Jones 53 yard catch overturned, said he was out of bounds and clearly wasn't.
