Broncos will struggle to get anywhere near the play offs. They’re in massive transition and Keenan is only a decent QB rather than a good one. He worked behind a very strong O Line last season.
Massive Green Bay Packers fan, usually get to see them at least once a year. Off to Fedex Field to see them @ Redskins in week 3 in a fortnight(and we’ll get an NCAA game at Maryland terrapins the same weekend). This year I think it will be tough mainly because the division is so stacked - Vikings are one of the top teams in the NFC already and have gone for it with Cousins, and the Bears just got a whole lot better with the acquisition of Mack, but as long as Rodgers stays fit then we’re always going to be there or thereabouts. By the way, I used to share a lot of the detrimental opinions on NFL with people on this thread - pretty common view when you are completely ignorant about the game.
BTW I'm a Steelers fan and have been since 1982. I had high hopes this year. We've got the Best O Line in the NFL, a hall of fame QB (On his last leg though) best WR in NFL and the best Running Back in the NFL, with the shittest Defensive secondary in the NFL although we seem to have drafted and traded well in this area in the off season. But we are in turmoil, which has been exacerbated this week with Leveon Bell not turning up due to hisi pay dispute and now the players have started shooting their mouths off about him on TV. The one thing the NFL don't like is being called out on TV by team mates and especially about money, so I think it might fracture the group. Still loads of talent, and now we've got rid of the worst Offensive Co Ordinator ever to the Browns we can still do well, just not ideal at Heinz Field at the moment.
Always liked the raiders and the redskins, more so I think to do with the influx of American sportswear in the 90s as a kid and always loved it. I have started to enjoy watching over the last season or so.... but I still struggle to fully understand what's go on half the time!
Green Bay fan since the early 2000s. Like CFB too, Longhorns fan just because I got fed up of having to explain where GB is, so I decided I wanted somewhere obvious. Used to play at uni too.
Always respected the history of the Green Bay Packers, Bart Starr is a legend. Highly recommend the 66 Packers America's game if you haven't seen it.
Just one of many exciting games today, part of me was kinda routing for the Browns, they've been awful for so long haha.
Great opening day topped off by a good win for the chiefs! Tyreek is a monster. The result of the day has to be the bucs. Fitzmagic at his best!
I think the Broncos will have a mediocre season, may get to the play-offs. While ever we have Von Miller there's a chance. Decent performance yesterday beating Seattle.
Steelers had a total shocker. Vast improvement needed if we are to get in playoffs on the back of the ratbirds win over the bills.....
Big Ben always starts like this then comes good. I'm still confident we'll do ok this year. Defense looks better and for a badly timed fumble and a terrible call from the officials on the punt that clearly struck the Browns before we recovered it, the defense seemed to be working well. Big Ben will play better, I'm sure. Turnovers killed us.
Who has everybody got tonight? Ravens to win the first half is 21/20, to win the first quarter is 31/20.
