Cracking goal he scored - that 40 yarder against Grimsby. Was it Nigel Batch between the sticks for them that night?

I once had the misfortune of being on the same train platform as Boris Johnson as he undertook a charm offensive on local commuters. He could have been described as affable, interested and keen to help in that moment.

Politicians are generally very good at hiding their true feelings and views in order to portray a picture they perceive to be beneficial to their cause, whatever that may be.

Only mentioned it because it was in the fking Independant ( major irony in that title) personally I wouldn’t trust owt in that thing but equally I know that some believe in it. Each to their own like.

Aye it’s going so well with our current strong and stable government. Haven’t they borrowed more money than any previous government despite austerity measures.

All Labour Governments borrowed £500 Billion in 33 years. The Conservatives borrowed £670 Billion in 8 years. Oh, and they gave billions in tax cuts to the already wealthy. So Labour have borrowed on average 151.5 million a year compared to the Tories who have borrowed 83.7 Billion a year. Labour have also always paid more of the national debt off then the Tories.

Disclaimer: as previously stated I am not a Tory I just think both parties are a crock of ***** and have been for some time
