He complained at the Supporters' Trust night about the players not closing the lines quick enough which allowed Coventry to play through us. I think this was him showing the players the focus needs to be there week in week out to be in the Starting XI. For Bahre though, he's played a lot of football since joining and went straight in the team. Maybe thought he needed a rest or that Moncur was just a better option against that specific opposition.
Some of the changes were justifiable competition for places is always a good thing if a player hasn't performed so good past few games give another a go.
I was more talking about the team selection in general l. Thiam was dropped he started the season well with 2 goals and has a assist but has been wasteful and not very productive past few games although I was told he had a good game at Coventry. Lindsay was dropped after a hit and miss start. Got to give others time to try step up.
I thought Thiam was poor at Coventry. The more i want him the worse he seems to look. Often makes the wrong run just seems to black football intelligence if that makes sense. Yes I agree others do deserve a chance hopefully Hedges is closer to full fitness now to maybe start. Jackson looked excellent last year before his injury so another that deserves a go.
Freudian slip an unintentional error regarded as revealing subconscious feelings That's the reason I took offense at the comment as that is the meaning of what you said. If you did not actually mean that then fair enough I can accept that.
It was my doomed atte It was my doomed attempt to correct Jamo's language,as I didn't think faux pas was the right expression. However on reflection I can see that it has that other inference so apologies for that. Will teach me to mind my own ps and Q's in future ☺
I can hardly talk on that front as it's my original error! Though I think faux pas is actually rather fitting.
As well as the changes it seems we had a change in formation to 4-3-3. Hope Dan isn't turning into a Tinkerman.
