Completely agree. Home advantage definitely played a part this afternoon.

However, got to give huge props to Bjorn for those pairings this afternoon. Regardless of individual talent I looked at all four match ups and thought 'we've got a serious chance here'. Poults fired up Rory and got him playing. Rose and Stenson are a phenomenal pairing. Likewise Fleetwood and Molinari. Then a genius move to put a rookie alongside Garcia.

Don't think he got it wrong this morning at all either. The Americans played some stunning golf and on another day could have lost 3-1 themselves with Hatton especially playing well.

    Great day. Buzzing.

    Spot on.

I've got no idea what Furyk was thinking of selecting Mickelson, one of the most inaccurate drivers in professional golf to even play at a course so unforgiving. Glad he did though...

Hills had a 2/1 flash odds yesterday on Europe to win, but sadly only allowed a tenner. Plenty of work still to come but Americans were never going to like a rowdy French crowd. Some strange afternoon picks for USA to leave out a guy who won a tournament last week and a guy who's won two majors this year. I get everyone has to play, but the wrong players missed out. People laughed at Garcia getting a wildcard, but it's looking a great decision after being part of the first ever 4-0 whitewash.

The course suits Europe for sure, which is how it should be. Not very long but if you don’t find the fairway you’re in trouble, reminds me of a lot of golf courses in England actually, Oulton hall anyone? 5 yards off the fairway and the balls lost! I think in the US we would lose but on this course I think we’ll win it.
