Watched game and seemed pretty poor just like they have for a fair few games now. Even when we won, we still looked poor compared to first few games of the season. It seems any spark we had at the beginning had just gone and that includes the fans, like having a 90 min silence at Oakwell.
We are lucky that League One is devoid of any quality. This Barnsley team would be bottom of the championship without a doubt.
Need to be more clinical in front of goal, the few chances we did make couldve won us game. Moore miss from thiams flick, ade’s low shot which was blocked in first half. Those were 2 that shouldve been buried. And also potts header at back post. There will have been more i forgot but unless we become more clinical then we will keep dropping points! We create enough chances to win but we have been looking more slower since the seasons gone on and also started pumping it to Moore more and more each game which annoys me because a lot of times its not even when we are under pressure so it just gives them chance to win ball back and spoils our hopes of a decent attack.
No denying it I am afraid. We'll be back in mid table within a month unless something changes very soon. Can't keep playing like that and maintain a top 6 spot. That early season promise, along with the sunshine, seems like a long time ago.
Wish our board realised that instead of all this talk of new contracts being handed out. Unless of course it's just so we can sell them in the very next transfer window for a bit more money.
