Sorry I know it's been posted already but he deserves another thread.

He can do better than St. Mirren, no disrespect to them of course.

I heard about this tonight and I agree that he could do better but we don't know what offers have been made. Good luck to him though.

Me too. It's just my opinion but I think he's a much better player than Thiam.

Can he though? If he could would he move so far away from his family to play in front of a few thousand? It's telling clubs that aren't us in the football league haven't signed him. Because three years ago he did well for us in the third tier, it's blinding judgement.

Was just writing something similar, great player and servant to club and leaves us with some amazing memories, but there has to be a reason why 92 clubs in England didn’t sign him

Think his aim will be to do well enough that he's back down here in January signing on a free for someone like Bradford or Fleetwood.

He has obviously gone there as he couldnt get a team in the efl trained with scunny they didn't sign him now he will try prove himself and get a better club in Jan. The spl is poor Kane hemmings couldn't score in league one he couldnt stop scoring in the spl.

Given our lack of wingers I think we should have tried to get him for one more season. I know we have a youth policy, but he has been a great role model in his second stint at the club.

I wish him well. He'll probably have a couple of good seasons up there.

Weren’t it the Scottish Championship where Hemmings scored plenty?

It’ll be a financial decision. St. Mirren seem to be spending a fair bit on experienced players from the prem / EFL.

He might have been seen as not up to it by the clubs he went on trial at or what I consider more likely is he just didn’t get an offer that he felt was reasonable.

I’d imagine the plans to do well for St. Mirren earning a decent wage & then hopefully get a move to a more local club who’ll come closer to matching his wage demands after seeing him in decent form for 3 months

That's a result for me. I certainly wouldn't have liked to see him play against us.

He played in the Scottish championship before we signed him after he left us he played for Dundee in the premiership and scored often.

I agree, better than Thiam and Moncur so why did we let him go?

Yeah certainly a gamble I guess. But lets say he’s asking for £1 million over 2 years, promotion is worth £6 million. It’s a gamble but given his ability is proven at this level, seems a no brainer of a gamble to me.

Doubt he was asking for 10k a week. I'd be surprised if he's on more than £1,500 at St Mirren.
