We are still to see CW after well over a month since the transfer deadline. Its a standing joke in the seating area of the West stand. (a pun intended). But old two weeks( as he is fondly known) must surely be near to a place on the bench at least. I do hope that it is not another case of iron deficiency syndrome or he is another Lloyd Isgrove who is I think a good player, a nice lad but always injured and so not contributing to the team . Zeki Fryers too needs to be getting some game time too... Flustrating for all concerned.
I know what is going off. The club intentionally sign injured players to annoy the fans. They also intentionally injure players in the squad, so they can annoy the fans even more. In fact, all decisions the club make are made with the sole intention of annoying the fans.
It is a concern that it is taking so long. We desperately need a pacey striker to play off Moore, if we are going to keep up with the leaders. It has been " 2 weeks "for the last month, which does smell a little of ********. Just hope he can hit the ground running. At least the talismanic Potts has returned. All is not lost brothers and sisters.
Cauley Flower then? Like our rose bushes then, shows a good flourish, blooms, then fizzles away for weeks on end until there's a suggestion of another bud, then the rain comes and rots the bud, never to be seen again.
Of course. The ball boys are trained to annoy the fans as much as possible. Many years ago, there were no ball boys at all, and players had to rely on fans chucking the ball back to them, or they had to fetch it themselves. However, someone at the club realised that, rather than have no ball boys, it would be better to have ball boys who don't do anything, as this would satisfyingly annoy the fans, especially those on here. The same logic was used in the decision to gradually remove the bulbs in the old scoreboard, then, when the fans' annoyance was at a frenzied climax, replace it with a scoreboard which was only marginally bigger than the train departure display at Dodworth station. This project was highly successful at first, but its effects were beginning to wane, until someone came up with the brilliant idea of not showing the score on the scoreboard during Tuesday's match.
Its pretty simple. He suffered a calf strain. In his training comeback, he got the same injury again. So naturally, the club want him to be fully fit and not rush him back. I would have thought some may have natural sympathy for a player which that happened to. But clearly not.
I don't really get why anyone thinks there is some great conspiracy but I do think that the constant mentioning of his injury is purely because of the confusing information coming out of the club. Not injured, injured, coming back in a couple of weeks, erm in another week, maybe another 2. Had they initially said he would be out for two months nobody would question it. That isn't a dig at th club, recovery doesn't always go exactly to plan and if they're asked they have to guess at an answer. I feel really sorry for the guy. I'd hate to be an injured player especially at a new club where you havent made a claim for your place yet.
Cauley Woodrow does not exist (yet). He is currently being force-grown in a secret laboratory under the West Stand, using a cocktail of stem cells taken from footballing gods around the world. The original design comprised samples from Ronaldo, Aguero, Messi, and Brad Potts. Unfortunately, persistent posters elsewhere on BBS have forced a design re-think, so now we're waiting for Adam Hammill's sample to be shipped down from Scotland. Estimated completion - two weeks. Well, it's no dafter than some of the other tripe being posted about the lad.
"Cauley Woodrow" sounds like a forestry disease that might force one of our posters to change his name to shed132
Listening to Andreas on Radio Sheffield it doesn't look like he will be back for quite a bit yet. I suspect a November start sounds on the cards. I hope I'm wrong and he makes his debut sooner rather than later...
