I would suggest the people making such comments can only name one country which is fundamentally muslim. To be fair i don't understand your comment?

Everyone gets bogged down with "is it racist, is it anti-islamic..."

Talk like that is disgusting and needs stamping out.

I think it's fine to be intolerant of intolerance.

Some bloke on twitter yesterday saying he wanted to Bomb curry houses as revenge for attacks in Germany by Muslims seemed to be perplexed when I asked him what Hindus had to do with owt.

Bit of a minefield as religions are notorious for intolerance.

    That's fair.
People are notorious for intolerance and religion is a common way of justifying it.

A better fix is "religious people are notorious for intolerance".

All religion should be downgraded in terms of importance to an equivalence of say ..which team you support.

There are loads of religions, many of which have beliefs incompatible with others.

We all know that these religions were spawned out of ignorance of how this earth works.

We all could craft a set of rules by which people should live, which we know are right.

We shouldn't let old religious crap prevent application of these rules.

Other than that, get on with your religion.

Its like calling someones grandmother a coffin dodger. Youd get a slap for it. Facebook is probably the most flawed thing in the world compared to peoples expectations of it. Kind of like religion in many ways.
    Live and let live anyway.

If the Muslim is over weight can we call them Katchumbar dodgers ? Or is that racist too ?.

I find it hard to understand how people can be so highly offended by words, especially on other peoples behalf, folk setting off bombs, running at people with knives, driving cars at people, with the sole intention off killing just because they have different beliefs, I can understand people finding that highly offensive, same as two countries thinking it’s okay to engage in war over oil. It’s absolutely outrageous, but being called a name by a brain dead bell end who they don’t even know, I’m sorry but I couldn’t careless, it means **** all. And anyone who’s offended by it needs to grow a pair.

Probably because you're not an innocent, sensible, law abiding Muslim...

Try looking at things from the point of view of the people this actually affects.

It staggers me that there is confusion between a religion and its followers (of non white race) and what are psychopathic terrorists.

I've been to Jordan, Tunisia, Malaysia and Indonesia. I don't agree with parts of islam (but then I don't agree with Christianity/ Catholicism either), but the people of those countries are some of the friendliest and helpful I've ever met.

Of course, all Brits are murderers aren't they? The Yorkshire ripper, he was British wasn't he. One murderer, everyone's a murderer.

Terrorism has nothing to do with religion. Terrorists aren't true Muslims just as IRA members aren't true Catholics.

    Ignorant viewpoint.

Disagree with that perosnally. What is a true Muslim or Catholic?
Both are man made up nonsense akin to fairy tales.
Even if you say they are essentially a separate order of Islam with a different interruption of the teachings I would say it's disingenuous to suggest it has nothing to do with religion. When people are killing and willing to be killed in the name of doing Gods work that is religious. The people who indoctrinate theses young people may themselves not believe but those who commit the acts certainly do.
