As an alternative I'm all for an intimate real ale pub venue. Name your hostelry. You'll find me mincing over with the red carnation...… …………..with photocopies of various league tables somewhere bulging out.
Can't do a coffee in the bus station. So "No chance" then? Which means in my language literally. But in yours, I look forward to meeting you for a decent ale or two. I think we'll get on nicely.
All night? After a draw, when you can't moan cos we've lost and I can't pretend to gloat (for some reason that presently escapes me), then I'll buy. If you turn out to be good looking though, then I'm off.
I’d probably make an effort if there was a load of women there - but can’t see me bouncing about on several buses to get to far flung deepest darkest Royston to be sat around a table full of men ...... culminating in a pi.ssing competition. That’s not me. After half hour I’d have had enough. Men - so boring. Women reading this will know what I’m saying here. I like a bit of music and a bit of fanny to talk to.
Just as a side note the reason of meeting at the Pack Horse is to give a bit of support to shed131 as well as been able to meet folk of here
............ ‘see if I can get the old man to come’ I think yer getting a bit too carried away there.
Incredible that 24th November has been mentioned as a possible date. 25th marks the day I first went to Oakwell v Worksop Town. It will be my 40th year of being a reds fan.
Cheers guys.. 24th November it is then if everybody is OK with that ... I will get it sorted watch this space
Was that the pre season friendly match ? did we win 4-0 ? There's something at the back of my mind that recalls being there .
