    New keeper needed
    New full backs
    A striker would be nice
I've heard some clubs have wingers.

Moore looked very frustrated at times today and it's easy to see why. We should have brought in another striker in addition to Woodrow but I know that's been done to death on here...

Davies doesn't appear to have been offered a new deal while we're starting to sound out Mowatt and a few other players about new contracts so that's quite telling. I reckon Stendel will move him on and look to bring in a better quality goalkeeper.

Not sure it was that lucky. Apart from one scramble in the first half Davies didn’t have a save to make. We hit the bar had 2 cleared off the line and 2 blatant penalties turned down. Would have been unlucky to come away without a win. Agree the full backs were poor. Pinillos looked worse than Williams.

    New keeper?

Not saying Davies is great but what did he do wrong today exactly?

Dropped the ball again (the ref somehow gave us a foul) and flapped at one that he just managed to knock behind

Why was lucky about it? Genuinely can’t remember them having a single chance second half? Whereas we had plenty.

Lucky that their shooting was odejayiesque because imo they completely overran us and had chance after chance

Thought Bristol edged 1st half if I’m honest despite Mowatts wonderful goal but 2nd half we looked pretty comfortable and should have won by more. Definitely not lucky.

Davies made an outstanding save from Payne.

It was more a Payne miss than a Davies save. He whacked it at him. Fair dos though for getting in the way.

Davies is a very good stopper and his instincts are first class.

But his judgement is poor and his command of the box is absent.

I've just logged on and seen this thread, and your comment. I'm close to giving up. I couldn't possibly figure out how to respond to that, so I'll just confirm that of course you're entitled to your opinion.

It was a fantastic save. Right in front of where I sit. Stuck out a hand, brilliant save. He was up for the rebound too. Also a good save to palm over before that from Payne.

Moore looks a different player without Bradshaw around doing the spade work. Think in January we will bring in a few Germans. Preferably some defenders with pace and a keeper of the Heinz Muller mould.

Iif I'd been a Bristol fan Id have thought we were unlucky not to have something from the game as they had a good long spell first half BUT we battled 2nd half and created more chances. I'm happy tonight!

Ordinary, maybe, but lucky and over-run? No way.

In fact, at half-time I thought we'd done really well to go in 1-0 up considering we played the first half with nine men (given Bahre and Moncur's performances).
