I just thought I’d leave a flag and a note at the King Power for every Barnsley fan who can’t make it to Leicester to pay their condolences in person. Note says “Deepest thoughts, prayers, and condolences from all at Barnsley F.C.”
a lovely gesture fella... its a sad moment for the families involved and the Leicester City club and its fans. But its always sad when a tragedy like this occurs. Makes you realise how mortal we all are.
I don't mean to sound flippant or anything but has anyone else noticed that they never seem to have even the slightest breeze at these tribute sites? If I left a shirt or a flag lying on the ground it would be at the other end of the road in a Bush within 10 minutes.
Brilliant, absolutely great gesture, your a credit to the club and Barnsley in general. Many leicester fans will be moved i'm sure. I AM. thankyou. People will respect and relay as and when required if things get blown abart, awesome photos.
Brilliant tribute. The saddest thing to me is that it was his love of the club that killed him, if he was like many football club owners who are only in it to make money like Mike Ashley he’d have been nowhere near the ground & wouldn’t be doing all he could to get to every home game. He genuinely loved the club & knew many of the staff on first name terms. Such a shame
Thank you for all of your kind words- thought it was the least I could do and I knew it’d be hard for lots on here to make it to Leicester to pay their respects.
