They look awful. I haven't heard of majority of their team. Have they gone down the same route as us with recruitment?
Had one of the lowest budgets of established championship teams for a long while. Mick was dragging them along it would seem. I have sympathy for the fans that wanted him out though, struggling every season becomes very depressing.
They have, obviously you want to compete at as high a level as possible. Stoke with Pulis is another example, Charlton all those years ago with Curbishley. But I do get it, by the end of our four year stay in the championship that ended under Wilson I was fed up. Some good highlights along the way but on the whole we got beat, a lot. No guarantees, look at Sunderland they had to go down two leagues to start winning again but I'd wager the fans will be enjoying winning again regardless of the level. No right answer here but I do understand when people get to the point of it rather try and ended up losing than continue with the awful football.
They've got the potential to be challenging consistently at the top end of that division (as do Leeds, Forest, Derby, Norwich etc.) but for whatever reason their budget is much smaller than most of their competitors and years of that plus Big Mick leaving seem to finally be taking their toll.
It was four years in league one before that wasn't it u til Ritchie go us promoted. Getting all confused all the seasons blending together.
