OFFICAL BARNSLEY FC VHS

Evening Reds! As most of you know I collect video footage of the Reds.
I'm trying to compile a list of all OFFICAL videos featuring Barnsley.
Most were issued by us but a few were issued by other clubs.
Could you post pictures of any offical videos you may have so I can try and create a complete list.
I'll post mine over the weekend.

The club did season reviews from 1996-97 to 2000-01 I seem to recall. Great videos those. Then there seemed to be scarcely any footage of our dark days until a dvd came out for the 05-06 promotion season. Would love to see some footage from 2002 to 2005 as I've got some great memories of what was an admittedly miserable time for the club.

I guess online coverage has negated the need for dvds nowadays but it's a shame.

 

We did a season review every season starting with 1991/92 season im not 100% when we stopped doing them but it was in the 2000s

 

I don't know how to post videos on here but I think I have the only copy of a home game against Oldham. Oldham filming it at the time and I wrote to them for it. No commentary though. I will post the goals on my Twitter @Bostonwayne if anyone wants a look

A lot of away clubs did them in the 1980s. I digitalised half of my collection before the VHS deck on my Toshiba Hard Drive Recorder perished. Off the top of my head, I have videos made by Leeds, Hull, Aston Villa, West Ham, Tranmere, Stoke, Wolves, Man City, Port Vale and Birmingham. A mate of mine had some that I didn't as well such as West Brom and Sunderland. I'll do an inventory when I have more time. We've just had a bereavement, so I'm a bit busy helping the mother-in-law at the moment.

I think I had one from 92/93 to 96/97 season reviews. Next time I'm in the loft I'll try and dig it out. Don't have anything to play it on anymore but I'm sure it'll still be up there.

 

I've looked for this as well, not to be found anywhere nor is anything from that season. The only snippets I've found were the first half goals of that mad home game against Cardiff where their fans ran the length of the away end after Earnshaw's goals, and the home game against Mansfield where Isledyn Christie scored their winner. Both randomly stumbled upon on compilations from their respective clubs.

 

I had wolves 0 barnsley 5 from 1991
And Sunderland away from 1987 ish 3 2 to reds.

 

I've had the Wolves game years. I would love the Sunderland game.
What I'm trying to do is create the biggest archive of Barnsley Fc footage in one place and eventually it will all be on youtube for everybody to view.

 

I don't know where my copys are im sure i lent someone em years ago and never got em back.
