Davies came off his line and made himself big in front of their forward who put it wide near to the end of the game and then the save at the death. Setdi was one of his better games apart from his kicking.
Shrewsbury was definitely worse. Both games we looked completely disjointed though, and whether that was tactically or just the players had stinkers remains to be seen. Still we got a draw on Saturday and the unbeaten run continues. Really looking forward to tonight to see us against a decent side. It’ll be a true test of where we are.
Like it or not, we're at the 3rd tier of English football and whilst players 'should' be consistent and ours in particular 'should' be better than this level we're going to get inconsistencies, and allied with a continental coach still learning about this league I think we're going to have blips. I think Saturday's starting XI was dodgy which didn't help, so as you say it'll be enlightening as to how we react individually and as a team, and what the manager does differently. As far as I'm concerned it's all about being in the top 2 after 46 games, and to be honest I couldn't give a toss if it's another 20 odd attritional wins that gets us there, then let's have a look in the summer at what we need.
