Even if we didn't make the playoffs, I'd stick with Stendel and his team. He inherited a team of losers who tanked last season and has instilled passion and a sometimes furious attacking style. Given a few transfer windows (giving he has some input), I'd expect him to be able to put an entertaining side together.

But would the board? We don't know they axe fell quickly on Morais. Or we do really well now to seasons end and Stendal get a offer somewhere else and leaves. Wasn't suggesting one way or the other just ment a lot can happen between now and then.

True, much can happen. Morais was a disaster appointment though, and fair play that they admitted their own mistake and acted so swiftly and decisively. I'd hope if Stendel can continue to show positive progression in a style, when it clicks, is entertaining to watch and generates goals, then he'd be backed.

I agree I'm encouraged and failure to go up wouldn't mean a instant change needed for me.

For me neither but I would be very very disappointed if we didn’t at least go up this season with our current squad plus a couple of additions.
Imo we have the clout to win this league and be champions for the first time in decades however I know we have no right choose, what players and money we have

I'd say if we missed out on a play off place then his job would be on the line. If we finished 3rd by a few points then thats different..anything can happen in the play offs
