Well Its hard to imagine the backroom staff are being covered by a PFA loan so that will be why its not newsworthy - they were probably never getting paid anyway - although it may not be the case as I can imagine one of their top players is paid more than all the back room staff put together
Yes, that's probably true. I can't imagine that any of the players will be off to the local food bank after two weeks without pay.
What confuses me is how they managed to spend £1m on Doidge from Forest Green in the summer with the **** they're in!
I wonder if they have any player(s) that might be of interest to us? I know wages would be an issue with their front line players but thinking about any younger ones that maybe on the fringe of the first team. Could there be an opportunity to tie up a bargain now, knowing that we would only have to wait a couple of weeks to get them registered?
Too often are cheats getting away with it - I thought QPR was going to be the club that wasn’t allowed to do so but I don’t care as long as ALL the cheats lose
I can't believe Bolton still haven't got their house in order. They will deserve everything they get.
Unfortunately I can believe they still havent its not as if they are the only club to get into this type of mess
I'm sure their chairman came on the media pretty recently (and very angry) to defend the fact that they had a loan in place to pay off the other loans that needed to satisfy the fa and basically stop them going into admin. The fa mist hold up their hands here as no one still seems capable of exercising due diligence on their finances....basically they are robbing peter to pay paul and well.....cheating. Sorry I would impose a transfer embargo for 3 seasons and deduct them 10 points for the same period....it's not fair to all the club's who are suffering and adhering to ffp rules.
I think they should level their ground. It’s not just that they sent us down last season. It’s because for years we were a similar sized club to Bolton - and then for years after that we couldn’t compete because they were pumping money into the club - money that they hadn’t got. So their long stint in the Premeir League has come at the expense of clubs and supporters of other clubs like Barnsley.
The fans won't suffer. They can form a new club that is pretty much a phoenix of the old one and still have the chance to go watch footy. They'll have a great time sailing through a few consecutive promotions starting from about level seven or eight and eventually their club will find something like its natural level in the order of things rather than the false and underhand position they've been maintaining for years.
Which years were they ? Bolton were in the old First division years I think if they weren’t one of the founders they weren’t t far behind. If we’re grading them fairly I would say. They,Blackburn and Burnley with their history are at the very least Barnsley plus. We not far behind when in. Championship but our history isn’t as rich
