So the EU created British austerity?

In other news, the earth is flat and the moon is made of cheese.

£9bn is well worth it. The taxes that free movement generates, the services it allows to be fulfilled, i'd love an accurate government projection to be published. But obviously that's not allowed as it would be fear mongering and too many experts would be involved.

I already knew that and said in the post it was a cross party election but the Tories decided no other party were invited to the negotiations . If you bother to read all my post you would see

Please, temporary economic issues? They’ve already got temporary economic issues that have lasted for ages.... It is not in their interest to let the uk grind to a halt, though many of them would like to see it happen. The uk is as likely to grind to a halt as it is of getting an extra £350 million for the NHS. Each side has their BS which is why it’s such a contrived bag of crap.

You run a shop.....save yourself 1000s in lost prophets by moving your business to a street corner.

This is even truer if you are part of a franchise where you pay extra to take advantage of a larger market and bulk buying power of said franchise.

I did read a report that highlighted that EU migrants are both better educated and earn more than UK natives (on average - obviously many are not). Both are on average better educated and earn more than non-EU migrants. So the plan is to replace better educated people that earn more (and therefore contribute more tax) with lower educated people than earn less.

Brexit driving down wages and increasing taxes for all.

I have a simple philosophy regarding brexit if millionaire right wing Tories like Rees-Mogg, Johnson etc think its a good idea its unlikely to work out well for the working class and should be avoided. They can afford their cavalier atitude to any problems brexit will cause because they are insulated against them by their off shore holdings and trust funds. They dont like the EU because it stops them explioting workers and theyre afraid of it because its begining to chase after their tax havens. As for Cameron and May being stitched up, the tories have stitched themselves into a corner by trying to placate their extreme right wing and UKIP and the right wing press barons who have been peddling lies and half truths about the EU for decades. The only people who have been stitched up are the people who fell for the con trick and voted for Brexit.

Your not getting it. The formula whatever it is should be a set calculation based on a percentage of average gdp over a five year period. Then any country wanting to leave would be able to cost their options up.

Your not getting it? What part of we’ve promised to pay x amount because that’s what we owe is hard.

It’s fanciful at best to expect to pay a nominal random amount based on a formula, we pay for our commitments, as we should.

When the original referendum was held, contrary to other members of my family,
I voted to leave the EU. Since then, I have listened to endless debates on Brexit
and if we are being told the truth I am not totally convinced it is not now in our best interests
to leave. One of my major doubts is around the availability of vital medicines for people
with life threatening medical conditions. Someone very close has recently been diagnosed
with Type 1 diabetes and has been told by his medical advisors that if we come out of the
EU without a deal , it might prove difficult in getting the requisite amounts of insulin for patients who have to
inject insulin on a daily basis. For that reason alone, again if that is true, I would probably vote
Remain we're there to be a re-run of the original 2016 referendum.

I do not believe this for one second. We don’t suddenly disappear to another continent! Whilst I understand you don’t want to take the risk, it just smacks of more crap reporting and conjecture, designed to scare people into an opinion. As I’ve said both sides have used this tactic.

It’s worrying tbh as everything coming into the country will be under scrutiny and searches have to be made otherwise illegal substances and goods will go unchecked.
Criminals will have a boom time if these checks are not in place .
The rules of the EU means that Goods are checked at source and moved freely around the EU zone without further checks obviously it’s not full proof but it works to an extent.
Hopefully something is worked out and put in place before any real crisis but knowing politicians I wouldn’t hold my breath .
At least Nigel Farage will be able to nip to Germany for his .

Foreign entities still trade... still get medicines?

Or maybe you think we’ll need airdrops from the Red Cross?
