https://fansonline.net/blackpool/mb/view.php?id=3164335 It's not true. We just care more about our own.
Doesn't seem overly critical on the whole, it must be such a downer for it to have gone on this long.
I think if we'd not been there once already this season (at a reduced price) we'd be taking nearer 3,000, chucking more money into the Osytons coffers. So could be worse.
This comes up every time we play them. I feel sorry for them, but it’s their fight ultimately, not ours. We travel well and in big numbers, I don’t see why that should change. I’m shocked it’s not more, although we’ll probably be just under 2k I reckon by tomorrow. A couple of days before Xmas I think that’s a brilliant effort.
They should be grateful our following is so low with our recent form, winter weather and time of year. If we had been playing them in warmer weather and in better form, we would have taken lots more.
I understood that their stance was “we understand fans coming to support their team, but we ask they don’t spend any money inside the stadium “. That seems a reasonable request. They can’t ask away fans not to come.
Actually most of their boycotting fans will still not go. Of course the cherry picking part time fans will all be there though
All the napm fans I know aren't going to arsenal (could be Barcelona in champion League final and still wouldn't go).. not been now to a game for over 4 years and won't until that family go. Sadly when this does happen I think a lot of fans have moved on in their lives and will be hard to get these back. Having said that Owen will probably out live most of us and live till 120!!
What's happened to this court case? Didn't the Lithuanian bloke (sorry, can't recall his name) sue Karl Oyston for about £25m and win? Or have I dreamt that?
Yeah belekon won it over a year ago... Owes him 25m and still not paid. So penal notice served and that time has elapsed but still quiet. But after all the oystons think they can do what they want... And after not paying any of the 25m it looks like they can!! Imagine if we didn't pay our council tax!!
I genuinely don't care. Not in a '**** them I hope they go under' kind of way. But in a way that it's not on my radar. I'm sure if I read into it I'd be on the side of the Blackpool fans, but I haven't got enough time in the day to care about a football club with whom I have no affiliation. Family, job, money, friends, Brexit, homeless in Barnsley, political move to the right across much of Europe, mentalist in the white house, global warming, my own football club, etc etc etc take precedence and I haven't got room for Blackpool FC, sorry if that sounds harsh, but it just is.
So do they want Blackpool to end up out of the league? I can understand that they don't want to line the owners pockets BUT they risk not having a club to support at all. Surely the away fans turning up are doing them a favour by ensuring the away support is more this making them more likely to lose.
I think the idea is get the Oystons to sell up before that happens. To be fair to them, they've carried on regardless. Two seasons ago they got promoted despite all the fans boycotting games.
