Brilliantly dealt with by Dani to not rise to the bait of a player he had in his pocket. Yet to see Maddison have a good game, but he must do somewhere to supposedly be worth a few million. After the incident Maddison was even more off his game struggling to deal with the crowd stick and Pinnilos had the better of him every time down our left.
It was a joy to watch, he was definitely deflated after this incident and the crowd giving him stick helped! So much so he then moved into the middle of the park.
Dani had a great game I thought, maybe his best yet from what I’ve seen. Both of our fullbacks looked in control today.
Hope he makes that LB back position his own. Love it when the opposition attackers get riled. Makes most of them ineffective
I remember one incident where the ball went on to the gravel track inside our half and he took a age to fetch the ball. He really didn't fancy getting closer to our fans. I think Lyon had a word with him to go get it so he could take the throw in.
