Because you are one of the most incompetent referess in a long long time. Can't believe you booked 5 reds players when maybe 2 were justified. In addition you fell for Charlton's theatrics every single time. Its not a surprise what they get up to when you see who they have as manager. Disgraceful!!!
Terrible....just terrible..so glad and relieved we got the 3 points.....bet moore would have been sent off today.
I thought it was a biased performance rather than incompetent tbh. Incompetence can be excused this was deliberate
Bahre was down for at least 2/3 minutes, as was one of their players in the second half. 6 substitutions. So in fairness it was about right. Yes. In general the ref was crap though.
The seven minutes injury time started at 16.53, Pinnilos went down at 16.57 and the game wasn't restarted until 17.00 but he blew the final whistle at 17.02 so sold them short by a minute or so...
Heard some charlton fans behind me as left ground saying the ref gave them nothing and they deserved to win god knows what match they watched
Fair enough, but how often do you see that amount of time added on? Normally you see all the above situations you've mentioned and 4 maybe 5 Minutes gets added on at the most. It's the inconsistency amongst referees that is so annoying!
There should be a system like rugby, time kept independently and game stops on a hooter, clock stops on every break in play then everyone can see what’s left no confusion at all but with football being secretive then no chance of it
Biased? Deliberate? You mean he refereed as though he wanted Charlton to win? So..... Why didn't he send Pinnock off when he took their forward out when he was in on goal? Why did he send one of their players off? Not that you are biased yourself, or the least impartial person to decide upon the refs integrity. You are essentially calling him a cheat. Is that right?
Yes he cheated with some of his decisions. I didn’t see Pinnocks tackle . He had to send they’re player off and it was a straight red but he gave him a second yellow . Every tackle they made was with two hands in the back of our players we got penalised for the faintest of touches . Any contentious decision he gave to charlton only blatant decisions he had to give us so yes he was a cheating ******* and charlton would have been sunk without him
If you add that much time on for bookings etc, every game would be 100 minutes long. He lost the plot in the last 20 minutes and honestly thought he would, only blow when they scored again. Dodgy in the extreme that ref.
The last Sheffield train was at 5.00pm so a lot of people had to leave the ground by 4.50, thus missing about the last 10 or more minutes including injury time. The game didn't kick off till 3.03 as the players didn't come out of the tunnel till about 2.59. I thought refs should have to ensure that games kick off on time. That was a lot of action some of us missed.
Booked one of ours (didn't see who) for a slight touch away of the ball right at the end when he knew that time was up anyway and he was gonna blow as soon as the free kick was taken. Petty decision making like that is a sign of a ref that lost the plot.
It did descend into farce second half, Pinnock's blatant handball was one of them - although they must have got away with about 5 handballs by that stage. His booking of Woodrow for trying to point out the wall was too far back was pathetic, and it shouldn't even have been a free kick in the first place. Probably the worse ref I've seen for a long time, and there's some stiff competition.
