You can’t be posting this. You’ll ruin the idea of the conspiracy against us. Pinillos one on one as well
Pretty sure that the ball didnt go out watch the highlights the lino is right there when bahre gets to the ball if it went fully over he was in the best position in the stadium to make the call and none of their players protested. The free kick they scored from was very soft and they looked a clear hand ball in the build up. Probley could go through the game picking fault in the referees performance. I don't think he was biased he just had a shocker worst I've seen this season and he fell for chaltons theatrical falling down.
Looked a clear foul for their goal to me. A lot of the fouls he gave against us that the fans were going mental at were actually fouls if we took rose tinted specs off. A lot of our problems yesterday were caused by giving away fouls. Not by the ref noticing them. That doesn't excuse his complete lack of control of the game though
Yes we did give away fouls I don’t think anybody’s disputing that in the posts I’ve seen . What people were incensed with that he didn’t give us the more blatant fouls that the Charlton players were inflicting on us . The way he gave charlton a goal kick which was the most obvious corner ever seen at Oakwell then proceeded to sprint down the field like a new born springbok to give them a free kick from resultant gk cos we went near one of their players. I stand by my comment that some of his decisions were biased rather than mistakes for whatever reason
I agree. He was biased towards Charlton, especially in the way that he left pinnock on the field and sent their player off. The Charlton supporting cheating ******* ref
Have to agree to disagree could you explain the hand ball in the build up or why Woodrow received a yellow for questioning the 10 yards?
But surely if he was biased against us he’d have taken the opportunity to send Pinillos & Pinnock off & to give Woodrow a second yellow when he went dribbling away with the ball when Charlton wanted to take a free kick
Woodrow was doing what? And I honestly don't remember the handball in the build up. I do remember seeing a couple of potential handballs during the game but I can't think which was in the build up
Yes their was one in the build up and like you say quite a few were missed yesterday. Woodrow received a yellow for questioning the distance the ref wanted the wall.
That's would be because it isn't Woodrow's job to stand a few yards from the ball at s freekick. It's his job to get back the 10 yards decided by the referee. Correct booking imo Can you remind me roughly the handball you mean? Like was it arm to the side, above his head or what?
I think his argument was the ref was making them go back further than ten yards. People moan were too soft but if a player questions the ref he is in the wrong. The ball looked to hit a players arm and big shouts for handball I will have to watch the extended highlights. Just like where the ball allegedly goes out maybee that will be on aswell. I agree with the pinnock one on another day he goes but so does their center back when he brought down Jacob brown in the 2nd half.
I put a thread on this forum prior to this game about Charlton and their (ahem) game management. I had talked to independent people who have watched them previously (not against us) and they spoke of their gamesmanship. ...Although they do have some good players and can play. This influenced the ref massively ...I felt we needed a strong ref....we didn't get one.....he fell for their theatrics more than not...and based on that imho the ref was probably the worst we have had this year....oh and he had a bad game too!!
Oh yes of course he accidentally booked him because he didn't know hed already done it despite how quickly he showed both cards
