    Looks like he could be off to millwall 500k reports saying. Shame would have been a great signing for us especially if moncur goes back darn sarf.

    £500k is a bargain for that lad. He’ll be worth ten times that in a year or two. Still really young so would have thought he was on our radar.

    I'd like to think he was on our radar and like I said ideal replacement for moncur.

    Twice the player Moncur is or could be. And I like Moncur.

    Honestly - whoever bags Payne will have a £5-£10m player on their hands in a year or two. Bradford fans desperate not to lose him. £500k is joke change for him. Can’t believe he would go to Millwall. He’ll spend the whole match watching it pumped over his head for Gregory or Morrison.

    It’s like when we refused to up our bid for Charlie Adam from £400k, then Blackpool nipped in, signed him for £500k and he fired them to the prem and then was sold for £millions.

    We need to stop missing out on real talent for the sake of what amounts to small change these days.

    Seen where all the usual suspects were in for him Millwall, Pompey, Peterboro and Luton.. cant believe that we aren't also interested

    At 24 just the right age where we could sign him and still easily turn a good profit...

    He’s a very good player, don’t get me wrong. But do we really need another attacking central midfielder?

    Potts was said to be a central attacking midfielder when he joined he played most of his championship games central for us he has gone if moncur also leaves I think he would be a good signing.

    Payne is a superb player - would love him here but if not, at least he won’t be playing v us in a weeks time, thank goodness
