Both players not good enough to play in the Championship, as proved last season.

Potts has improved this season, but he’s found his level. Thiam, well, it beggars belief someone is prepared to pay €2 million for him!

Cash in and bring some much needed quality into the squad!

Plenty of effort in his game but lacking in quality, especially in the Championship. Good business by BFC for a change.

 

You do realise they were both young playing their first seasons at championship level in a completely new team? Amazes me how many on here seem to think that players peak at about 23 & won’t get any better

 

But we’re not in the championship are we??? The players in question have contributed 10+ goals and 10+ assists this season is it not a priority to get promoted before deciding who’s good enough and who has to go?

Lacking quality with 6 goals and 5 assists? Not sure where that puts everyone else on the scale.......

 

Moncur is close to a par with Potts and hasn't played anywhere near the amount of minutes. He was a trier. But for me, in 60ish starts, he's generally been ok in this division without being outstanding. He's scored some good hits, but he's missed some sitters as well, and for a box to box midfielder, in such a prolific team that's created tonnes of chances, I'd expect a regular to have scored more. 1 in 5.5 isn't great for such a player who's played plenty of games in league 1.

Decent, but I think we've got good money for him and I'll be very surprised if he surpasses lower end Championship standard. best of luck to him though. A decent honest lad.
