Well reading the words Longer term stability and short term investment. I think that tells us all. The money we made over the last few seasons has disappeared out of the club completely. Starting from scratch so to speak without a pot to piss in until we have sold a few more. So we start again. Hopefully we do get some investment back in when we do sell this time around

It’s early days and we could yet still do well in the window. It’s easier to sell a good player than get one on a small budget in January from Experience though. The words short term Signing does bring up the Matt Mills debacle though doesn’t it.
Well GG has been quoted more than once as saying that we'll only sell if the money is right AND we have replacements lined up ready. Weasel words? We shall see.
Let’s be honest about it Daniel Stendel hasn’t come to Barnsley & left his family behind because he wants to be our head coach forever. He’ll want to be successful & get a much bigger job (Bundesliga, Prem or Championship team with money & ambition) within a couple of years. So my guess is he’ll be pissed off as he’ll be desperate to get a promotion on his C.V. & it’s hard to do that selling key players mid-season. With Klopp, Wagner & Franke German managers are a trend at the minute & if he gets a promotion he’ll no doubt get linked to bigger jobs.
You see the word Hecky in print and you are straight in slagging him off, so you must have posters of him with dart oyls in em, along side yer Danny Wilson ones.
