    Preston have bagged themselves a thoroughly nice lad and a good grafter.
    From Potts' point of view, it's a short career and you have to chase the money.
    We'll miss him for sure, but due to the midfield options we have, we can survive, even without signing a direct replacement.

    Why does he need to give us an apology? My recollection of him last season is that he gave 100% but was a part of a squad that just wasn't good enough and were doomed to relegation when we brought Jose in. There are some that owe us an apology for last season but Potts isn't one of them in my opinion.

    I don’t blame Potts or any individual player for last season, it was a strange scenario, an almost brand new squad, all with little experience, no leaders to turn to, no chemistry, it was always going to be a struggle.

    Yep some never gave the lad a chance and he was quickly scapegoated.
    It wasn't any of the players fault they weren't good enough, we signed them all.

    You just think that someone mentioning that a section of our fans constantly slagging off of a player trying his best, by might not be the most constructive approach is sign of a f**ked up forum - thats just bizarre

    After watching the Tykes for 70 years, selling our best players has always been the case at BFC. Brad Potts has improved a lot from last season, he is one of our best players. We are aiming for promotion and if/when we sign a replacement he is going to take time to settle in etc. He is going to be missed. Nothing changes!
