I’m surprised that Minder has never been re visited after the late George Cole because with the right cast that would really work as imo it’s timeless.

Pretty much anything TBH, only decent recent progs are Line of Duty and Shetland

    The Beverley Hilbillies - brilliant
The Invaders - with modern effects would be great
Captain Scarlet - Bet this would make a great action series with real actors

I'm not so sure about this. I loved it with Dennis Waterman but thought it was rubbish when he left and they brought in the younger bloke (Daley's nephew I think).

Yeah your right but I think it was because they tried to replace Terry and used same format and although George Cole was as ever brilliant I always thought he was ploughing a lone furrow tbf.
I always though Bradley Walsh would’ve made a good minder but he’s knocking on a bit now imo but if they get the casting right I think it could fit into s modern settings version .

I used to love that programme especially when Eddie got his comeuppance from Bill .
I think it would cause uproar nowadays unless it were a Scotsman in England or visa versa that could work lol

Luther is gripping TV and one of the only things on the Beeb that I watch, apart from Peaky Blinders.

The plot has been done to death on other programmes . The acting was absolute tosh . I don't watch much telly but was encouraged to watch Luther . It's 5 hours I can't get back .

That sort of did come back as Crackanory with more grown up stories for adults. Two per show and it was broadcast on UKTVGold.

Michelle Herbert the girl who played Tricia Yeates in Grangehill used to be my upstairs neighbour for around 10 years.
Just thought I'd share this piece of very interesting information with you all.
