    One of my musical heroes. Still going strong at 70. In fact, he does so many albums I can't keep up with him!

    I used to work with him before he went into music full time. Nice lad but couldn't get to work on time, perhaps understandably.

    Reportedly started nailing drum kit tut stage at Jump wmc and got a bollocking for it. Think I saw em circa 1971, my first gig, Barnsley civic supporting Wizzard.

    Saw Bebop Deluxe in The Dearne Hotel, Bolton on Dearne in about 1974/5 (cost 10p to get in which was double the normal charge for bands there), then saw them again at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1976/7. Wonderful guitar player.
