I purchased a seat Ibiza brand new back in 2013.

The turbo blow at weekend after only 33000 miles .

Currently in garage and costing me £1000

Someone just said from garage you can look to claim from seat it under 6 years old and they may pay something towards it due to low mileage

Anyone done anything like this before. ?

Would need to have been fully serviced with history to manufactures spec with correct spec oil to stand any chance

This is my area of expertise, my day job.
As said previously. It will need to have full service history to Seat’s standards, with proof that the original parts and oil have been used.
The quality of oil used during servicing is critical to any claim on a turbo.
I’d be very surprised if the goodwill went beyond 5 years in any case.
