Kin ell. She's lost by 230 votes. Needs to consider her position. Biggest defeat in political history since the 1920's.
JC has stood up and put forward a vote of no confidence in the Government. May has agreed to allow the matter to be discussed to-morrow.
Just been watching the Health Minister Mathew Hancock being quizzed by Andrew Neill. No wonder we are in deep doo doo if he is synonymous of the "talent" available to the Tories.
They are saying that Ramsay McDonald lost by 164 votes in the 20's, so in effect May is now a Record breaker.
Yeah our country would never vote Corbyn in to number 10 thankfully. The PM could offer Corbyn as part of the Brexit deal a seaview Malibu mansion, twenty million pounds and Arsenal to go through the season unbeaten again and he would still vote it down.
Corbyn wouldn’t be bought like that. Unlike, a host of Politicians I could mention. For the many not the few.
As opposed to the fkin brains trust on the other benches you mean? Most inept gathering of MP’s in living memory
I think it’s synonymous with the overwhelming majority of MP’s regardless of party. Gold covered lead ingots.
Totally agree. The Tories are in total disarray and effectively are not governing. May has had two years to sort Brexit out. She's now saying she's prepared to listen to other parties to attempt to re-engineer her deal so it finally gets a majority in the House. If she'd only lost by a handful of votes she might have possibly been able to do that, but it appears to be an absolute impossibility to overturn a defeat of such magnitude.
He's an embarrassment and should be ashamed of himself . Sitting on the fence for 2 years then calling for a GE that nobody wants typical bloody coward. The country voted OUT . Im a remainer btw .
To blame the opposition is plain daft. the tories called a general election, the tories weakened their position, the tories refused to listen to anyone but themselves, the tories continued to tear themselves apart. fiddling while Rome burns springs to mind
The Govt and the Tories are the embarrassment. Typically trying to deflect anything away from them, very much like this post.
Hopefully we’ll get a hard Brexit and all those braying for it these past months really get the WTO tariffs they deserved. We see large food price inflation a shrinking economy, labour shortages from the NHS to fruit picking, lost farming and manufacturing jobs, a huge fall in tax revenue from the City and hence further cuts to the NHS police and social care. Then you can live free from the EU while eating grass. Me? I voted to stay, even though my job won’t be effected by leave and I’ve paid my mortgage, but I actually understood the wider impact on others.
