    No it wasn’t but I also saw it but I lay claim to using it first lol.
    TBH I was a bit chuffed when I saw it draped over the wall and along with Frank Wilson I’d like to think I had some influence on their flag lol

    Welcome Cantley, thinks there's quite a few of us in Donny, original from Athersley North but I've been in Wheatley for 13yrs before recently moved to Sprotborough, so slowly edging my way back to Tarn, wife from Bessecar so not far from your neck of the woods

    Bit of a difference between Cantley and Bessecar HR. They're that posh in Bessecar,
    they even get out of the bath to go to the toilet.!

    There’s a few of us from Donny on here Cantley.

    I’m in Scawthorpe, lived in DN5 (Bentley, Scawthorpe and Scawsby) all my life apart from stints at uni, and very briefly in Thorne and Scunny with the Mrs.

    You tend to notice Doncaster based fans on here by our absence from any thread that references Doncaster with caravans and travellers. There’ll be a few...

    Woodlands me ! Always thought we should get a supporters club together from this neck of the woods . I enjoy a pint after the game occasionally but getting back to Donny is a real pain , the last X 19 is 18.15 which is too early and the alternatives are awful . When we went to semi final in 2008 we filled a 55 seater from woodlands Carcroft Skellow area . There’s obviously a lot of reds around Donny so would there be a way of getting something started ? We’ll get a big flag ( Doncaster Tykes) they’ll love that at the keepmoat

    After seeing troff's post I did think we should get a flag..

    Would be good if we could start up a Donny Tykes supporters club, or a drink..

    When I had my first season ticket I used to get a lift from a gent call Geoff from Skellow... He was one of the regulars in Skellow Grange where I used to work at the time. He was the only other Barnsley fan I knew in Donny.

    Small world eh ! I wonder if I know you ? I live on great north road opposite park club . Let’s see how many Doncaster reds are on here then maybe we can get summat arranged for future games maybe get to some more away games . I usually go to away games with the Manx but if it turns into a day/ nighter the taxi Home is £25

    I was born in '56 and went to 'ostals, ( Adwick Washington) moved to scawthorpe in 1st year of juniors. I lived at 1 3rd ave behind the butchers

    Turns out there's more Barnsley fans than Rovers fans in Donny. I thought we were a town full of Leeds fans!
