Old lady in the audience asked Diane Abbott why they needed a back stop in County Down. She replied i dont kbow Ive not watched it since Carol Vordeman left.
Why is it when she is talking she sounds like she as been kicked out of a nightclub for being drunk and is pleading with the door supervisors she is not
She’s incredibly intelligent, so not sure why she always comes across as someone who’s just stumbled in front of the cameras by accident. The treatment of her by the media, however is simply appalling.
I'm no Abbott fan but apparently before recording Fiona Bruce was telling Abbott jokes to the audience and whipping up an anti-Abbott sentiment. BBC these days is a disgrace
I don’t know but that seems a bit far fetched. The presenter making jokes about the guests.... it didn’t happen
Not sure it was Fiona Bruce, but the floor manager was apparently reminding the audience she was a guest during the warm-up/safety briefing bit and 'inviting' some lively contribution when she spoke.
I was on question time last year and the host dimbleby told us all to give them all a rough ride if we didn't like/ agree what they were saying
Haha brilliant. I actually watched it last night but obviously missed that bit. Did it actually happen or is this just a joke. Either way it's FAF.
Intelligent would be turning up to your engagements with the media well prepared to explain your policies. Also, what’s appalling is using public money to pay for cabs home every night instead of it coming from her own pocket and then there’s the race-baiting with tweets such as “white people like to play divide and rule” or “West Indian mothers will go to the wall for their children.” She brings it all on herself.
apologies old gimmer, I didn't realise you and Mrs. Abbott were relatives, no offence intended. The fact you appear to be defending this absolute imbicile shows you in a fairly poor light. The woman is a racist bigot, a sponger and cannot count....but she is Labour and old gimmers stick to labour through THICK and thin don't they?
She’s clearly a racist and her views on the IRA in the 1980s were abhorrent. And by your rules I’m allowed to say that as I went to the same University that she did (although I got a better degree...)
She's certainly no 'racist', that's just plain daft. I doubt if she's a 'sponger' either. She is though damaging to the Labour Party as she does, without question, come across in the media as a bit of a baffoon. It's no surprise that right wing or conservative media outlets target her as she offers plenty of ammunition.
