The poll you're talking about was conducted on 13-14 Jan. The latest poll was done by ComRes for the Daily Express on 15 Jan. This Shows 37% Conservative and 39% Labour.

Most people just want to watch the world burn. We're a nation of masochists.

I'm not sure you've read a single thing I've posted. Maybe you skimmed and applied your own prism of view to then reply. It's a shame, you make plenty of good points. The irony though, you accuse others of not reading or listening, but you clearly don't do that yourself.

I told you I chat with the guy I buy a pasty for. He can't pay his bills because he has a massive house, his wife died and needed huge amounts of care which he couldn't afford. Yes, that stemmed from the dreadful changes to caring and costs. You seem to have ignored everything I've said and can only focus on your perception of being bitter and that i've said the personal allowance rise is a good thing. I've not said anything else is good, someone said name one good thing, I named it. Why you can't acknowledge in isolation that its better than it was, I guess I'll never fathom.

In my response you've pinned in your reply, it clearly states I believe part of the issue of homelessness are "huge amounts of funding have been cut from councils and local authorities, and I feel that's had the negative impact making it an increasing issue". I'm not sure I can much clearer, but you seem to have ignored all that.

The biggest risk to me, my loved ones, and the life I choose to live is Brexit. The approach of this dreadful govt, and the dreadful approach of Labour. Whichever govt is in power, I will be poorer, have less opportunity and I expect services will be lesser than what they are today.

But lets leave it there. It's pointless having a dialogue when you don't even read what I've put.

That’s a bit ironic tbh when I’ve answered your questions and you keep asking me my thoughts on the personal income taxman which I’d answered first time .
You know this govt is bad I get that but you called me out on why I shouldn’t be so harsh on them I’ve given my reasons .
I’m confused with your stance tbh first your siding with them trying to make me see the good? Things they’ve done then acknowledging they’re bad?.
You seem to think all homeless are drug or alcohol dependant and that’s where it starts gave you noticed some are not addicts and even the thought that done maybe addicts to cope with their homelessness? Have a look at what your writing it’s not adding up.
You now saying this govt is bad which is fair enough but then you go on to say a labour govt will be bad . How you can predict this I don’t know it can only be prejudice because you don’t know the only thing you can know is how god awful this govts are . The rest is speculation on prejudicial assumptions .
So before asking me to re read your posts I’d suggest you do so yourself .

A lot of it’s down to the media.

Corbyn’s the most lied about politician I can remember, it’s amazing how many people believe the lies about terrorists, Jews etc.

It’s a disgrace that next to no coverage is been given to Saudi Arabia / Yemen & Theresa May’s backing & the business interests her husband has in it. Most people don’t even know about it. It’s happening right now & its far worse than anything Corbyn’s done.

Corbyn’s been proven right many times over the years, I’d trust him, he’s the one thing most politicians aren’t & that’s a decent human being.

I’m no fan of Diane Abbott but she’s done nothing different to what several Tories did in the build up to the last election in getting figures wrong. If she was white, middle class & had a posh accent nothing would’ve been made of it.

I’ve no doubt many people in London see Corbyn as a laughing stock but many people in Yorkshire, Wales, Liverpool, Durham, Sunderland, Scotland etc all see May as a laughing stock. It’s the way it is.

As for replacing Corbyn who with? I’m gonna be honest here & just say it as I see it & that’s that the two most common names mentioned seem to be Chukka Umunna & David Lammy, neither are getting elected. It might seem harsh but in my opinion Britain isn’t ready for a black / mixed race prime minister. If Labour put either in power they’ll do even worse.

I’m not trying to accuse every leave voter of been racist but there’s a sizeable chunk that are. Just my honest opinion

Seriously Marlon lets call it there. I didn't call you out and your responses seem to be more obscure. I'm rereading my posts just to check they were what I thought them to be. I simply said the personal allowance was a good thing... a very long time ago. That's all. Just one thing. You're now creating words suggesting I think homeless people are drug addicts and alcoholics... random and bizarre.

If you read any political post I've ever made, you wont see one that lauds praise on this or any previous tory govt. And you're calling me prejudiced for disagreeing with labour policies and the competence of Labour personnel. Abbott, McDonnell, Corbyn, Burgon.... to me that's a frightening lack of talent who would have many of the key cabinet jobs. So my perception is based on seeing and hearing their comments and lack of answers first hand. I can't agree with anyone who implies the Labour position on Brexit is clear, considered and based on economic reality. But each to their own. My position is considered, based on what I see and hear, the discussions I have in business environments and large quantities of data and opinion I see from tens of thousands of people. It has forever been thus. No prejudice. Just interpret what I see and hear and that shapes my views.

But as I say lets leave it there. There's no point at all having another form of forever morphing groundhog day when I have that all day every day with Brexit too.

I might go find some fog to knit.

Your saying things from my posts that aren’t there . If you have re read your post and think you aren’t implying these things then it must be morse code or summit cos you definitely are and it’s there for all to see . But I hope the fog knitting goes ok you may be better at that tbh.

sure and the tories are ahead overall in the month of dec - we can go on like this forever mate but the fact is that labour should be wiping the floor with the tories atm and they are not - THAT is the point

I stopped voting Labour in 1967, when as a resident of Eastern Nigeria, later Biafra, I witnessed the genocide caused by Harold Wilson and his Muslim pals in the Nigerian Government. I was further sickenened in 1974 when being in line to be repatriated from Cyprus, witness an RAF VC10 (120+ seats spare) carrying the pompous Labour Foreign Secretary, Mervin Rees, fly back to the UK from Akrotiri, with his staff of six, whilst the rest of us had the discomfort of flying cramped p together in a Hercules.

Sorry but you are completely wrong regarding the inflatiin rate. Your figure is more likely an average, in 2010 inflation was 4.61%, 2011 5.2%, only 3 years has it been below 3%. In 2011 VAT went up to 20%. In fact it is safe to say that everything has gone up considerably with exception to the interest rate. The issue is, you seem to be elaborating everything you say, you keep referring to the personal allowance being raised yet chime in with "small business owners", an employee and a business owner are not comparable. It is also worth noting that the public sector employs 5.36 million people, in addition to the pay freeze public sector employees had their pensions reduced and had to pay in around 2% more despite that.
Sorry but this isn't about one good thing like increasing personal allowance. It's about the full picture and as Marlon said, there are more and more homeless and many more having to rely on food banks, choosing whether to heat the house or to eat. That should be a concern to anyone no matter what their political preference. Don't even get me going in Brexit, I don't have the inability to understand that either.

We should have the worst ever PM out of her job! What she has done to the country is criminal- however, the rabid media want to latch onto anything that they can about Corbin et al - ask yourselves why?
I do believe, however, that Diane Abbott is his Achilles heel! The lunatics were out & about last night in Derby - I don’t think it’s right that they should laugh at anyone but Dianne did herself & labour no favours (again!) - you know the worlds gone mad when the vile Oakenshott gets rapturous applause! I despair!

    Yawn....

Things Teflon Teresa has “achieved” its staggering how much really.

    1. Been held in contempt of parliament. Il let that settle... contempt of parliament!!

    2. Suffered the biggest defeat in parliament history.

    3. Faced a vote of no confidence by HER OWN MP’s.

    4. Faced a vote of no confidence by the whole parliament.

    5. Ignored parliament for 2 years until she realised she needed them, blaming parliament by the way for not speaking to her!

    6. Called a general election to win more seats but lost seats, splitting her party and despite having no money apparently found 10 billion quid to give to the DUP to prop her government up.

Pretty shoddy show all round I think? I probably could go on but people still try and blame Jeremy Corbyn and labour. Can’t get my breath.
