I took my son on it the other day. We paid for a 2 hour session as one of his Xmas presents.

He loved it. And i was very impressed with how he had built it all

You paid for it? Bloody hell posh git

I was just thinking that it's a good job he has done it for his own personal use and love of aircraft rather than as a business because I couldn't see anyone paying those prices and then Mr money bags here pops up.

How does the session actually go? As in what happens? It's something I'd love to do

    Lol.

He explained how he had got to doing it.

Very strangely we went on holiday last year and was on a 737. I got a photo of the cockpit as we landed.

So sneakily whilst our kid was on it I was comparing his set up to the actual cockpit we was in.

Absolutely identical apart from one dial. Which had been upgraded in the real plane.

But yeah it's now a business he has his own site and everything.

Our kid had a passion for flight simulators and it just popped up on a advert from facebook (He had paid for it and it obviously was targeted at a local area). Took it from that.

It was worth it. But the artical says indicates movement. It doesn't it's static but very very realistic. Linked up to real time weather conditions and time.

You can hire it and piss around or pay a bit extra and he will give you tutoring etc. Bit your free to do what you want.

I'd certainly return put it that way

I've always had an interest in aircraft and aviation so it's something I think I'd really enjoy. My only issue is the price (which I totally understand because of how much it cost) and the fact that I wouldn't want someone babysitting me saying do this do that but at the same time I don't know how to fly a plane so if he left me on my own I'd be sat on the runway till he came back in.

Might have to give it a go one day if it's that realistic in terms of the layout and everything

It is. Once you've been and I suspect he then does it with everyone he says approach him direct from an initial booking and you will get deals. Not sure if that would last if he becomes so busy though.

Setup with 3 4k screens. Can all be recorded and you can go from anywhere to anywhere.

I think the real simulators on hydrologics and that you are looking at at least 1k a session. So it's cheap in comparison.

He even brings you tea and coffee and seems and all round decent bloke to be honest.

You rock up at his house and you think.... is this real or a con. But it's very good. Oh and loud lol

Really good guy is David, I’ve known him a long time. He’s a massive Barnsley fan too, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if he was this thread. I think next port of call would be getting it in the match day programmes if it was possible. He’s donating a couple hour slots for a raffle we are doing in our local pub for the Mind Charity

Given the attention to detail in the simulator I found this gem in the blurb on the website... " has been miraculously tested"...... Did he mean meticulous or was there some divine intervention going on during construction? :D
