    Big game Tuesday night win and we would go into the top 2 with pompey and Luton playing each other.
    The transfer window ends at the end of the week we need to keep the starting 11 together to have a chance of automatic. If we lose any of our key players especially to promotion rivals you would have to question the owners ambitions. If we come through this week we have the best chance of a top 2 finish for as long as I can remember. Don't sell us short.

    I can't argue with any of that. I really can't wait for the transfer window to close, hopefully with our first team intact. Two winnable games coming up, well winnable on paper anyway. Stay focused, keep our best players and I'm confident we'll be serious contenders for a top two finish.

    Good post, but to be pedantic, we can’t go top two if Pompey win.

    It’s the transfer window that’s the important one. I’d take a defeat at Oxford as long as we don’t sell any more first team regulars if we sell any of those it would have a far greater long term effect than one away game against a side at the other end of the table

    Are we hoping for a draw between Pompey and Luton? A Pompey win wouldn’t be too bad tho if we get the 3 points. All in the mix even more then. Just Sunderland that will have a game in hand over us then. COYR
