I use the PC at the other end of the room so I got a mega long HDMI cable off ebay for less than a tenner, works great
Android TVs are really crap imho. Can’t even load play store on mine and it’s brand new and cost ££££. Other than that it’s mint, but on my experience wouldn’t buy a TV for OS reasons. Not this one anyway (Sony A8)
All attempts to mirror my phone or iPad to tv for ifollow have resulted in sound but black screen. Same with an android phone too. I just use laptop with hdmi now
I’ve got a cable that connects my iPad to the tv, I’ve used it on numerous occasions but never with Ifollow, I’m going to put it to the test later.
Never managed to get anything working but a HDMI cable. Hoping that they'll splash out and develop an app for smart TVs and consoles for next season but seems unlikely.
Android box is way to go imo just down load BFC app then go through as normal to I follow then key in your I follow details as you would on phone etc .
To avoid wires and connecting a laoptop / desktop everytime. Something on the lines of this is ideal.. PC functionality, so just bang into an HDMI port and Bobs ya fathas brother. https://www.scan.co.uk/products/han...3735f-133ghz-2gb-ram-32gb-storage-intel-hd-gr
Only tried videos tbh but I thought the app would work as normal but obviously not if you’ve tried it and you know a lot more about it than me .
I use a Steam Link for my viewing from pc to tv pleasure. Its mainly for sitting back and playing video games but can watch anything thats on your pc on your tv just as easily. But wouldnt buy one just to watch a game of football every now and again only.
What do you mean it doesn't work? Do you have the cast option on the drop down menu from the dots? Only reason I ask is that this is exactly what I do. And when you say you can cast other things like Youtube and that, is that from the Mac?
