Have Your Say! Club News Reds fans are invited to take part in the 2019 EFL Supporters' Survey. Continue reading on the official site...
A long list of conditions for the prize draw, but no details of what will happen with the personal data they capture. Under GDPR, they should at the least be saying who holds the data and how it will be used, especially if the information they capture from you is mandatory to advance. The first page, or invite, or target URL should gain consent from the respondent if personal data is being captured. As the first question asks to give your DOB, its certainly not GDPR compliant. Its a no from me.
Nowt like a short survey, is there? Warning: Don't bother, got about 20 pages in and was on dot 2 of about 10 at the bottom. Must be at least 100 pages.
The EFL survey is notoriously dreadful. And if they were reported, I suspect they would be heavily fined, as well as their provider under GDPR. Hopefully the club wouldn't be fined too for sharing the survey on an openly accessible site (but not sure about that aspect, only from a direct sender or capture perspective)
They should number the questions so you know how long it is. Seems very intrusive for an outside chance of winning some tickets. With the amount of data it will collect they should be at least offering VIP tickets. CBA filling it in.
I've just completed it. Not for the faint-hearted. I'm bound to win as I don't believe anyone else will get to the end.
