Isn't that what we want ... steady ship and all that.Given all the hissy fits last week I'd have thought we'd all be happy if they close with no more business.
Dunno if you saw his interview on ifollow today... expletive laden which surprised me! Pretty much said sometimes he's tired, I've just run all that way and now you want me to get back, now you boo.... its no problem, that's football. Acknowledged his finishing and end product was poor. If we can teach him to think, he might be ok. But if we go up, I'd absolutely sell in the summer.
Roll on eleven o'clock tonight. My major hope is we hang on to the key players we already have, but a couple of new faces would be bonus.
Was always taught me that if you’re that tired that you won’t be able to make it back to defend then you shouldn’t be legging it forward
Thought it was another good interview. Seems a top lad. He's rough around the edges, but offers a lot to the team & his confidence is improving, after a bad run of form.
Needs game time, but not sure this is a good move for him. With or without him I think them and Bolton are nailed on for the drop.
I didn't say it was the worst or anywhere close just that I was a tad underwhelmed that as it stands the squad is weaker imho than it was at the start of the month.
That's always been my stance to be honest. Seen him numerous times find the energy to keep attacking, but suddenly lose all that energy when it meant getting back. Just my opinion, but I think its less to do with fitness, and more to do with mentality.
This pleases me. Never fancied the thought of seeing him back at Oakwell. Although he knows where the net is, I prefer to look at it as a promotion rival will be getting a player still in recovery from a major injury and desperately short of match fitness.. I also hope the rumours of him being a dressing room disruption follow him to the North-East.
Appears that way JP. When he joined us, I welcomed him on Twitter and he sent a nice reply. Top lad. Incidentally anyone on the board who lives near "the shrine", is it still lit up, or in total darkness.?
