    It was the comment “it’s been a brilliant transfer window’ that I thought was nonsense. Maybe we just have different expectations of the club. Let’s say yours, very reasonably, are based on experience and a recognition that ‘we know our place’ and mine hope for rather more ambition, particularly when a little more ambition might have just got us over the line.

    Ganaye has said that big money bids have come in for a few of our players from Championship and Premeir League clubs
    That’s different to what previously has happened.
    And that’s fantastic news !!!

    No matter what the new owners said at their launch about following the SAME FORMULA as the previous owner - keeping the squad together is totally different to what the previous owner did.

    What exactly are we thanking them for ?
    They have put out a nondescript and unverified statement almost a carbon copy of the one they gave out at the end of the last window,did they copy paste it.
    i am sure most if not all Barnsley fans would want to know for curiosity sake at least, who these big bids were for and for what amount.
    every other club seems to have no problem at all as these transfer windows are ongoing coming out and saying, tweeting,telling sky
    We have had a bid from club X for player Y for Z amount ,the bid has been rejected.
    even now the window has closed , i am struggling to think of any reason why that statement couldn't have mentioned which players and for what amount ,from which club

    The problem with not doing that is people are going to think its just ********.
    And its its just been put out there to appease fans.

    We’ve not even had offers for Moore, Pinnock & Lindsay have we? What you thanking them for?

    The only player they’ve turned an offer down for was Cavare & most of the people on here wanted shut of him, or at least did a month ago.

    Would have liked another proven striker but we kept our inform team together so we must have a great chance to go up and if green is as good as his initial glimpses he could be the missing piece
