Obviously I'm not "ITK" like some on here, allegedly, but we've had "big bids" for "some of them", allegedly, according to our departing chief exec.

I notice that someone actually "liked" a post slagging off the club in part for selling Isgrove. You couldn't make it up.

Good to see some positivity, can’t keep them all naturally but good to see we kept hold of the integral parts of the squad! I’m happy with it! Now let’s crack on with promotion!!!

I wouldn’t read much into that. A lot of people like things in order to go back & read the comments or watch later

So to agree with a fact is "pissing on chips"? This board is even more screwed than I thought.

Seems we’ve turned down bids so it’s a big thumbs up from me.

Mate, you know full well that I'm referring to your 'positivity top trumps' jibe. Don't you?
By the way, the 'this board is even more screwed than I thought' comment is becoming boring.
You have every right to express your views but you can hardly grumble if people respond like they do, when you pour such scorn on everybody who doesn't think like you.

Tbh I’ve hit the like button on posts I don’t particularly like whilst just scrolling down the page . Obviously the ones I’ve noticed I’ve corrected but there’ll be ones I’ve missed no doubt
Not saying this is the case but it could be .

I'm so grateful that our management have seen fit not to flog all our best players. It would have been perfectly understandable if they had.

Best January window for years - we only lost our assistant coach, CEO and three of our midfield, two of them to teams above us in the league.

We brought in a forward only to send him straight back out.

We captured a winger from a team 4th from bottom of the league below us, plus one or two others who will be highly unlikely to appear in the first team.

Best January window for years. Really pleased with it.

Ganaye didn't go in the window did he?

Out of the 3 midfielders, only one was a regular, and to be fair, we haven't lost a game since he moved on.

Yeah, we've brought players in with a view to developing them, because that's what we do. Green looks ok from the first couple of cameos he's made.

I think people are happy because it could have been a lot worse, had we sold Pinnock or Moore.

Windows shut. We should all be concentrating on getting behind the team and getting over the line.

You say only one was a regular but George Moncur played in the following games for us this season

Oxford, Bradford, Blackpool, Wimbledon, Rochdale, Scunthorpe, Gillingham, Oldham, walsall, Coventry, fleetwood, Plymouth, Peterborough, Luton, Charlton, Shrewsbury, Bristol, Southend, Everton, Bradford, Doncaster, Sunderland, Southend, Wycombe, Portsmouth, Burnley and bradford

That's pretty regular really. Might not be a starter every week but there's no denying he was regularly in the squad and brought on.

Whilst some may say it could have been worse and some may say it could have been better haven't we all got to agree that our squad is now weaker than it was a month ago?

The evidence to support that is that one first team ready player has replaced three

Maybe there’s a confidentiality clause in the dealings, even if unsuccessful.

I agree with the last part. We are third in the league and ought to have strengthened further in order to give us the best chance of getting over the line. This should not have been a January where we needed to make money. Yet it seems we have.

We are not in the same position as when Hourihane et al were flogged off - our "best" players are still in contract in summer and thus will be worth as much then as now.

I appreciate that every player has his price.

Anyway, let's muller Scunthorpe tomoz and be happy for a while.

The concensus was that moncur was better off the bench than a starter. I was happy to see him go. He had been here around 2 years and never held down a place. Isgrove can't keep himself match fit.

Is the squad weaker? I dunno. We'll know better in may, and who said we've replaced anyone? Winkler said weeks ago that he thought we were strong enough and weren't looking for lots of signings.

The mistake people make is that the lads we've bought are direct replacements. They're just signings. Green for now, and the others for development.

Pott's hasn't really been missed since he went. We've gone 9 unbeaten.

Considering some on here said we'd go straight down this season, I think questioning this transfer window is a tad rich.
